Let’s proceed to the creation of the hearth. It can be of different shapes, it all depends entirely on your imagination. To do this, we make the markup, cut the box, and fold the cardboard inwards.

In the same way, glue the strip of cardboard to the bottom of the furnace.

Glue the PVC molding to the top of the fireplace.

Prepare the putty and handle the holes between the molding.

Apply the putty on the inside of the furnace.

After the putty dries, paint the entire surface of the fireplace with white paint.

Draw lines with black paint to create the effect of a rough stone. To do this, you need to paint only the contour. Beautiful fireplace out of the box is ready! If desired, it can be decorated with additional decor.

In this case, the work will require the following:

  • paint white;
  • brush;
  • golden acrylic paint;
  • paper Scotch tape;
  • small carnations;
  • pencil;
  • New Year’s decor.

Almost in the central part of the box, we make markup for the future fireplace.

Cut the cardboard with a knife on the sides and top.

On the bottom of the markers, we draw the corner of the ruler with little effort. This is necessary to ensure that the cardboard is bent evenly along the line.

We strike sharply with the side of the ruler several times so that the workpiece has the same shape as shown in the photo.

Bend the cardboard down, and then fix it with scotch tape on the inside.

Cut out two blanks of the same size from the second box. This will be the wall in the future decorative fireplace.

Fix each of them with scotch tape alternately.

We paint the blank with white paint and leave it to dry completely. If necessary, you can apply another one or two layers.

Attach a garland to the fireplace with the help of small carnations. It is better to bend the ends to avoid injury.

On the surface of the fireplace, make the contour of the picture. It can be beautiful curls, bricks’ imitation, or something else. Choose the right option for yourself.

Take acrylic paint of golden color and draw the contour. If desired, it can be slightly shaded to make the picture look more natural.

In the same way, we draw an additional pattern on the fireplace.

As a result, the fireplace looks like in the photo.

Drop the garland, add additional decor, and set the fireplace in the right place.
